How NASAB collects, keeps and protects your family's personal data.

1. The information we collect
We collect the information you give us directly: name, email address, phone number, and the family member details you record in your family tree. We also collect system activity such as login times, IP addresses and QR code scans, for security.
2. How we use it
The information is used solely to provide the service: drawing your family tree, sending family notifications, and confirming your identity. We do not sell your family data to anyone.
3. Who may see your family data
Every family sets its own privacy level for the profile, the family tree, the gallery, the documents and the chat. The system default is "Family Members Only". NASAB staff do not open family content except at your written request for technical support.
4. Sensitive documents
Documents marked confidential or private can only be opened by the related member and the family head. Every download is written to an audit log the family head can inspect.
5. Retention and deletion
Data is kept for as long as your account is active. You may export your entire family record at any time from the Settings menu. A permanent deletion request can be made through customer support and is completed within 30 days.
6. Personal Data Protection Act 2010
We comply with the PDPA 2010. You have the right to access, correct and restrict the processing of your personal data. Contact us with any related request.
