Help & User Guide
A step-by-step guide to using the NASAB system.
Updated
Getting started
After registering you will be asked to create a family or join an existing one. If you are the first person in your family to use this system, choose "Create a New Family".
Adding family members
Open the Family Tree menu and press "Add Member". Enter the full name and gender — the rest can be added later. To connect a member to their parents, choose the father and mother in the Family Tree Relationship section.
Age and status
You do not need to enter an age. The system works it out from the date of birth, every day. For a member who has passed away, tick "This member has passed away" and enter the date of death — the system will show a year range and the age at which they died.
The family QR code
Every family has one QR code. Open the QR & Scanning menu to design it, set its access level, and download it as an SVG file for printing.
Inviting members
In the Family Members menu, press "Invite Member". You can attach the invitation to a family tree record that already exists, so the new account does not create a second person with the same name.
Guardians
For members who need help managing an account — children or elders — the family head can grant guardian authority by choosing particular permissions only.
